This federally funded program allocates a set amount of funding to Brandon Township each year. The township uses these funds to benefit low to moderate-income families, to take part in the historic restoration of the Old Mill, for park improvements, and renovation to the Edna Burton Senior Center.
Organizations such as Haven, Ortonville Community Emergency Fund, the Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance have been given funds to help our residents when needs arise.
Public hearings are held each fall to receive input on how the funding should be allocated with the final decision resting with the Township Board. For more information, please contact the Clerk’s office at 248-627-2851.
