Silver Lining Rubber Stamping Club - Enjoy creating projects using rubber stamps on the EBSC on the second Monday of every month from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Share tips, rubber stamps and pleasant companionship.

Brandon Woodworkers LLC - If you have any suggestions for projects we might make for a non-profit organization, or if you want to donate tools, wood, etc. to us, contact Larry Lang at 248-627-4545.  When we work on a project, we charge only for materials.  Our membership is limited to ten and is currently full.  If you want to be considered for any future openings contact Larry Lang.

Sewing Club - The Sewing Club meets every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the EBSC.  They make many useful items for our troops overseas and for the homeless in our community.  They need more volunteers to help make these useful products.  If you can donate your time, please contact Jo at 248-627-4549

Mountain Echo Dulcimer Troupe - If you know how to play a mountain dulcimer and would like to join a group that meets on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. to practice, please come to the EBSC or call 248-627-6678 for more information.  The Mountain Echo Dulcimer Troupe does performances in the community and welcomes new members.  Dues are $5.00 per year.  The club has mountain dulcimer classes for new students on Wednesdays at 3:15 p.m. at the EBSC.

Knit & Crochet Club - The Knit & Crochet Club meets at the EBSC every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome.  If  you don't know how to knit or crochet, we will teach you.  Be creative.  Learn how to make socks, hats, purses and more.  Now, also learn how to make lace using the tatting shuttle.

Additional Activities

Computers - Volunteers are available to answer or solve computer-related questions or problems at the EBC every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  If you are a Brandon or Groveland Township senior resident and would like a free computer, you can sign up for one on the list posted at the senior center.  There are also five computers available for seniors to use.  All of the computers are connected to the internet and are loaded with MS Office, games, a greeting card program and software to burn music and data discs.

Computer Shed - The EBSC has a shed on the back parking lot to recycle computers and keyboards, monitors, printers, and other peripheral equipment.  Anyone can drive up the the shed at any time to deposit items.  If the equipment cannot be given free to seniors for reuse, it will be recycled and kept out of landfills where it would eventually poison the ground water.

Library - A large selection of books and audiotapes is available for borrowing or swapping at the EBSC library.

Volunteers - We need leaders to start clubs on photography, gardening, etc.  If you have a talent you would like to share or teach other, or, if you can help deliver meals to housebound seniors, even one day a week from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., please call Annette at 248-627-6447.
